I'm Dev Lynx, and I make PCOptimizer. I kept doing the same Windows tweaks by hand: clearing temp files, switching power plans, running SFC and DISM, and setting up Game Mode for every game. So I put them all in one app and made sure you can see and undo what it does.
How PCO is built
No mystery boost button. Every action is labelled Safe, Ask first or Needs admin, and says what it changes.
Undo is built in. Cleaned temp and browser files go to Quarantine first, Undo Last Tune rolls back the latest tweak, and deep repairs prompt for a restore point. The few permanent actions ask first.
Stays outside game memory. No injection, no hooks, no game file changes.
No overclocking and no registry purge. It doesn't touch voltage or clocks, and it doesn't bulk-delete registry keys.
Honest about speed. PCO frees resources Windows is wasting. It can't add headroom your hardware doesn't have. Results vary by PC.
Kept up to date
PCO gets regular updates, and every update is checked against its SHA-256 hash before it installs. The latest is v1.15, which added Discord Protection. See everything that changed in What's new.
